Who is Stomach Botox suitable for?

Stomach Botox can actually be applied to anyone who wants to lose weight. This procedure is not an operation. However, patient selection is important. It should be said that stomach botox will not be very useful in patients with a body mass index over 40 and can be successful with surgery. At this point, patients who are overweight but not obese enough to be operated on and who want to lose weight constitute the ideal patient group. In patients with stomach ulcer or gasrit, first of all, gastric botox can be applied after appropriate treatment of these diseases.

What are the Symptoms of Colon Cancer?

The most common symptoms of colon cancer are continuous diarrhea and constipation, thinning of the stool that always comes at a normal thickness, blood coming from the anus and stool, and egg white-like secretion in defecation. In cases where colon (large intestine) cancer progresses and obstructs the intestine, abdominal swelling and pain occur. It is important for those with such complaints to consult a doctor for early diagnosis.

  • The feeling that the intestines are not emptied sufficiently,
  • Difficulty defecation
  • Painful stool
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Vomiting
What Are Colon Cancer Treatment Methods?

In colon cancer, surgery may not be necessary when cancer is detected at an early stage on polyps taken during colonoscopy. It is only followed closely. Colonoscopy is of great importance in the diagnosis of polyps at an early stage before they turn into cancer. In recent studies, it has been shown that colon cancer can be prevented to a great extent by removing polyps at an early stage by performing colonoscopy.

How can the risk of breast cancer be reduced?

Breast cancer risk can be reduced with some changes in daily life. The risk can be reduced by being careful not to gain weight, exercising, not eating high-fat foods, smoking and alcohol, and not taking post-menopausal hormone replacement therapies. Surgical removal of both breasts and replacing them with a prosthesis, ovarian removal or medication can be used in patients with a genetic analysis to be performed in patients with a high risk of genetically inherited breast cancer with a family history.

What are the symptoms of an ulcer?

The most common symptom is pain in the form of gnawing and burning in the upper abdomen. It usually occurs between meals. It can wake the patient from sleep at night (mostly in duodenal ulcers). The pain is alleviated in a few minutes to a few hours with eating and with chewable tablets and lozenges that neutralize stomach acid, which we call an antacid. The frequency of pain increases in autumn and spring. Symptoms that occur less frequently in patients with ulcers are nausea, vomiting (especially when there is pain, decrease or cessation of pain is very typical when vomiting), loss of appetite, and weight loss.

What is a hernia? What are the Symptoms and Treatment of Hernia?

Hernia, popularly known as hernia, is caused by the penetration of internal organs into the spaces in the muscles and tissues. Hernias with potential dangers reduce the quality of life of the person by showing different symptoms depending on the place of occurrence. Hernia is mostly caused by lifting heavy loads, working in occupational groups that require the use of physical force, staying up for a long time, chronic cough, straining, rapid weight changes and pregnancy.

How To Treat Hernia?

Surgery is often the only treatment method for hernias that cause an anatomical problem. Repair is done with open and closed (laparoscopic) hernia surgery. In large hernias, if the patient’s tissue is not sufficient to cover the hernia area, a patch (mesh) can be placed. After laparoscopic hernia repair, the patient is discharged the next day.

What is Anal Fissure Disease?

Anal Fissure is defined as the disruption of the integrity of the muscles in the anus by cracking or tearing. Although it can be seen in all ages and genders, it can be diagnosed in adults and young children over the age of 60. With the passage of hard and large stools, sharp pain is evident. The pain can last up to an hour and recurs with the other passage of stool. Pain is also felt while sitting on a firm surface. Blood contamination may occur in case of avalanches on toilet paper, underwear or diapers. Itching is evident around the anus. Children may refuse to defecate. The cause of anal fissure is unknown, but the complaints become apparent when hard and large stools pass through the anus. The incidence of the disease increases with constipation, leukemia, Crohn’s disease, immune system deficiency diseases and multiple pregnancy. Constipation should be avoided to prevent anal fissure from occurring. Therefore, at least 8 glasses of water should be drunk a day and a diet high in fiber should be taken. If necessary, an intestinal softening drug can be taken. Strain and anal intercourse should be avoided.

Is stomach botox a guarantee for weight loss?

There is no guarantee of weight loss in any method, including stomach botox. It is not right to treat stomach botox as a miraculous cure. Although it is known that stomach botox has an appetite-reducing effect and helps diet, it is also possible to fail in patients fed with high carbohydrates after botox administration.

What is the difference from the gastric balloon?

Gastric balloon is one of the endoscopic interventions for weight loss. However, the volume of the gastric balloon should be adjusted occasionally according to the patient, which requires endoscopy each time. Stomach botox provides an effective loss of appetite for 3-6 months with a single application. Occasionally, the presence of a foreign body in the stomach in the gastric balloon causes nausea. In addition, many patients complain that their appetite is suddenly reopened after the gastric balloon is pulled. Since the effect of stomach botox passes slowly, there is no sudden increase in appetite in this way, the appetite gradually returns to normal.

How is breast cancer treated?

Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormonal therapy, and biological treatments are used alone or together according to the stage of the disease and the tumor characteristics detected after pathological examination.

How to Understand a Hernia?

Hernias in the abdomen and groin area give symptoms as painful or painless swelling. In painful hernias, a part of the internal organs, mostly the small intestine, has entered the hernia area. In some patients, the small intestine fragment can enter and exit the hernia area or be manually pushed into the abdomen. Hernia pain develops due to the strangulation of the intestinal part in the hernia area. This situation requires emergency surgery. If not done, that part of the intestine cannot be adequately blooded and will be necrotic.

What is the place of surgical treatment in breast cancer?

The most effective treatment in the early stage of breast cancer is surgery. Due to popular misconceptions, patients may refuse treatment when surgery is recommended. Those who are recommended surgical treatment in breast cancer constitute the group of patients whose diseases are in early stages and when the cancerous tissue can be completely removed by surgery, the patient group has the highest chance of life.
